The Capricorn Full Moon midweek brings emotional and structural matters to a peak, and asks us to reflect on personal progress and make adjustments as needed.
By the end of the week, Saturn’s retrograde reminds us we’re not done learning. Something in the quieter, less visible parts of our lives still needs to be tended with patience. The shifts this week are both large and subtle. Pay attention. Seeds are being planted not only for this month, but for years ahead.
Monday, July 7, 2025: ENTERING THE FUTURE
The most significant event of the week occurs at 3:45 am EDT and will shape our country, culture, and personal lives for years to come. Uranus enters Gemini, bringing disruption, innovation, and powerful pressure to awaken to these outside influences. As Uranus moves into Gemini, the themes of communication, thinking, information systems, education, and social discourse become central flashpoints. Uranus will remain in Gemini until early November when it returns to Taurus briefly before reentering Gemini for the long term in April 2026. This offers us a preview of the broader changes to come. Pay attention to shifts in your thinking and your interactions with others. The house in your chart where Gemini sits is the area of life where you are being asked to wake up and embrace the most unexpected changes.
The Moon moves through Sagittarius today, and its presence gives us the ability to view our lives with a wider lens. We tend to seek meaning under a Sagittarius Moon and to explore beyond our usual boundaries. This is a good day for reflection that leads to perspective. Look beyond your immediate emotions and notice the beliefs that shape your reactions. Your understanding of your emotions and beliefs is very significant at this time.
Venus forms a trine to Pluto this morning. This suggests a powerful depth or clarity regarding your personal values or relationship patterns. It’s a good day to pay attention to where love and resources are strongly supporting your life.
Where am I being challenged to think in completely new ways?
What patterns in my relationships or values are coming into sharper focus?
In what area of my life am I being asked to face change with courage rather than control?
Tuesday, July 8, 2025: A BROADER VIEW
The Moon moves through Sagittarius throughout the day. This places our focus on experiences that expand our understanding. You might find yourself drawn toward an unfamiliar experience. Take the long route home or engage with someone who sees the world differently than you do. Sagittarius values what is learned through new experiences. This isn’t a day to sit still and wait for something to happen.
If boredom or impatience show up, think about what you need. You may need to do something you have never done before or go somewhere you have never been. Perhaps you need a challenge that wakes you up to a new view of your surroundings. Experiences like hiking a trail you’ve never taken, trying something physically new, or reading something that pushes your assumptions can be especially useful. Don’t waste today doing what you already know how to do.
When was the last time I learned something through an unexpected experience?
Are my thought patterns too predictable?
What would I learn today if I stopped being careful?
Wednesday, July 9, 2025: DO THE WORK
The Moon enters Capricorn at 4:55 am EDT, setting a tone that values structure, effort, and steady progress. Capricorn is the cardinal earth sign. It gives us the drive to take care of what’s necessary, whether or not we feel like it. Today is about doing the work. That might mean handling responsibilities that have piled up or making a plan for something that needs long-term attention.
This is a good day to bring order to areas that have felt disorganized or neglected. If something small needs fixing, fix it. If something big feels overwhelming, break off one part and deal with that. Emotional needs don’t disappear under this Moon, but they tend to get quiet. You don’t need to ignore them. Just don’t let them get buried under the weight of your to-do list.
What area of my life would benefit from greater structure or discipline?
What emotional needs do I tend to set aside to be "productive"?
Where can I take a small step toward a long-term goal?
Thursday, July 10, 2025:CAPRICORN FULL MOON - THE LONG VIEW
Today's Capricorn Full Moon peaks at 4:36 pm EDT. This is a moment of illumination and clarity within two overlapping cycles. The first began just two weeks ago at the Cancer New Moon on June 25. That was a time to plant a seed rooted in emotional security, seeking a deeper sense of belonging. Today's Full Moon brings clarity to what has developed in that regard and what still needs more attention and care. Full Moons do not offer solutions or final answers. The illumination they provide allows us to see the reality of what has developed and where we find ourselves.
This Full Moon also connects to a longer cycle that began on December 30, 2024, at the Capricorn New Moon. That was the start of a broader commitment that you were focused on. What did you begin to build or take seriously at the start of the year? Look at what has taken shape since then. The Capricorn Moon asks for structure, responsibility, and endurance. If something that began at that time still matters to you, keep going. If not, be honest about where to make a clean adjustment.
What has taken shape in the past 2 weeks, and does it reflect what I intended? What adjustments can I make?
What began around the start of the year and still needs and deserves my effort?
Where do I need to recommit to something serious and important?
Friday, July 11, 2025: A SHIFT OF FOCUS
The Moon spends the morning in Capricorn before moving into Aquarius at 1:22 pm EDT. The early part of the day may still carry the weight of yesterday’s Full Moon. You may feel drawn to finish something or bring order where things have been left unfinished. Keep things practical. Take responsibility where needed and then move on.
When the Moon moves into Aquarius in the afternoon, the emotional tone becomes more objective. You may feel less caught up in personal concerns and more interested in what can be improved. Aquarius brings attention to ideas, systems, and patterns. It’s a good time to take a step back and look at your situation with a cooler head. If something hasn’t been working, you’re more likely to see a way forward now. Focus on progress rather than perfection.
What unfinished task needs my attention before I move on?
Where in my life could a more objective view help me move forward?
What small change would make things work more efficiently?
Saturday, July 12, 2025: PRACTICAL PERSPECTIVE
The Moon travels through Aquarius all day, continuing the tone of thoughtful observation and objectivity. This can be a good day to approach problems from a perspective that allows for distance from emotions that aren’t useful to the issue at hand. When the Moon is in Aquarius, emotions are processed through the mind, and we tend to respond with more preparation and practicality. This can bring clarity, especially in situations that have previously felt emotionally overwhelming.
Take stock of your circumstances today without rushing to take any action. It should be a good time to connect with like-minded community, coming together to discuss and find solutions to issues of shared concern. Aquarius values originality and mutual respect; take time with others while also honoring any needs that arise for solitude or distance.
What issue have I been too emotional about to see clearly?
Where could thoughtful conversation with like-minded others lead to a new solution?
How can I balance time with others and time to myself today?
Sunday, July 13, 2025: A NECESSARY PAUSE
Saturn stations retrograde this morning at 2 degrees Aries. If you’ve been working toward something important in the part of your chart that holds Aries, that effort must come to a pause. Saturn will retrace its steps through this area until September 1, when it returns to Pisces. Until then, stay with the work in this area, but don’t push or force progress. This is a time to review what you have been working on, where the foundation is solid, and where more work is needed.
Once Saturn re-enters Pisces (September 1st), you will see that there is unfinished business in the house that holds Pisces in your natal chart. You probably know exactly what is needed. Saturn in Pisces asks you to structure something intangible: your beliefs, your dreams, your spiritual understandings, or your creative expression. That chapter resumes in September and lasts through mid-February. For now, stay with what is in front of you and be honest about what you aren't yet ready to move forward on.
The Moon remains in Aquarius through most of the day. This gives you space to assess things intellectually. If you need to talk something through or think carefully about a commitment, today supports that. The Moon enters Pisces at 7:44 pm EDT. The evening may feel quiet or emotionally sensitive. You might find yourself needing time to go inward. Let the evening be simple.
What part of my current effort needs more planning or adjustment before I can continue?
What kind of preparation will help me return to this work with more clarity?
Where do I need to pause, reflect, and wait for the next step to become clear?
This is exciting!.Hopefully Uranus is going to bring about some much needed changes.
Thank you for your hard work and sharing your insights. I needed some positive news for this coming week. Last week was a challenge.
